Frequently asked questions about our new website

Yes we are still part of the SMART Libraries network. To expand your search to include the SMART Libraries click 'Try this search in the SMART Libraries Catalogue' at the top of your search results.

To reserve multiple items select your items with the check boxes next to the titles. Open the 'Options' menu at the top of your search results to find the 'Reserve Selections' button.

In response to feedback we have reinstated the About Us menu at the top of our page - this contains links to our Borrowing & Services information as well as our Locations & Hours.

We are working on refinements for the New Books search to improve this list and will be developing New Titles lists for some of our popular collections.
We have now confirmed that access to Ancestry.com from home is working via our new website. You must be logged in to access the link - visit our Family History eResources page to access Ancestry.com from home.
You can view your current alert profiles by visiting the History section in 'My Account'. For more information about alert profiles see our Alerts Help page.
